I am a therapeutic Counsellor in Gestalt Therapy, which is a holistic, humanistic, person-centred approach. I have 9 years experience counselling adults and children in schools, prisons and within the wider community. I have been counselling a variety of issues including, confidence and self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, anger management, bereavement and loss, relationships and a variety of other life transitional issues.

During my studies in Therapeutic Counselling, I realised just how powerful the mind was, in that whatever belief we hold in our subconscious mind will eventually become our reality. This is also true with the beliefs pertaining to ourselves and who we are. I am passionate about having a healthy mind, body and spirit as I believe our body is our temple.

It is correct to say that society is still in the process of overcoming the stigma that for years has been attached to seeing a counsellor. However, those who have been deemed as successful within society are among those most likely to seek out a counsellor, because they can recognise how beneficial it is to their lives and see it as way to uplift themselves and to set life goals.

I have helped to support my clients to explore their own minds, talk through their unresolved experiences and problems as an impartial knowledgeable guide. I believe that in the majority of cases my clients are sending a message to their subconscious that they are valuable and that their mental wellbeing is worth prioritising and by seeking a counsellor they improve the health of their minds.

I enjoy facilitating the personal goals towards wellness, empowerment and improvements in individuals lives. We all have positive or negative experiences in our lives which are steps towards our goals for who we are today and can be effective tools in creating who we aspire to be tomorrow. With the right tools, empathic support, and personal determination, we can live our lives to the fullest.
